Millikin joins Business Team at Murphy Insurance

Maria Millikin has joined Murphy Insurance Agency as a Sales Executive based out of the Agency’s Groton office. Millikin has seven years of insurance industry experience. Having previously held positions at Willis Group and Liberty Mutual, she has extensive knowledge and works with businesses of all sizes with a special focus on health care organizations and their specific risks.

Millikin leverages the agency’s relationships with 20 insurance carriers and over 100 other sources to build cost-effective plans to help businesses manage risk. “I enjoy learning as much as I can about my clients’ businesses in order to provide them with the best protection plan available”, says Millikin.
In addition to property, liability, commercial auto and workers’ compensation protection, she can also assist businesses with employee group health and other benefits, business income protection and business continuation plans.
Millikin holds a BA from Saint Michael’s College. She is a member of the Boston Women’s Network, Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce and is very involved in the Groton School community. Originally from Portland, Maine, Millikin resides in Groton with her husband and son.
