Murphy Insurance Agency Re-Certified as Five Star Agency

Hudson, MA—The Massachusetts Association of Insurance Agents (MAIA) is pleased to announce that the D. Francis Murphy Insurance Agency, Inc. of Hudson, MA, with additional offices in Bolton, MA, Groton, MA, Harvard, MA, Marlboro, MA, Mendon, MA, and Medway, MA, underwent an intensive review to be re-certified as a Five-Star Insurance Agency.

MAIA awards the Five Star Award of Distinction to an independent insurance agency that successfully completes a “fitness review” that examines its five key imperatives: Customer Focus, Management/Leadership Excellence, Human Resource Excellence, Process and product Excellence, and Future Success.

“The re-certification of the D. Francis Murphy Insurance Agency, Inc. confirms its dedication to providing outstanding customer service to its clientele and being a strong business within its communities.  The agency has a comprehensive marketing approach that brands the Murphy name and allows for excellent name recognition, image, and reputation in the areas it serves.  The agency has a wealth of experience among its staff, and they have the knowledge and capabilities to handle customer requests successfully.  This D. Francis Murphy Insurance Agency, Inc. is a fine example of what a Five Star Agency is, and they should be congratulated on their achievements and re-certification.” said Frank Mancini, President and CEO of MAIA.

Michael and Dennis Murphy, the Agency’s owners, attributed much of its success to its excellent staff and strong management team. The Agency’s reputation and strong community presence, combined with its outstanding customer service, are the reasons the Agency continues to be of a Five-Star status. Insurance Made Simple is the Agency’s motto, and although it is becoming increasingly difficult to do so, they continue to do that for their customers.

Currently, there are only 28 Independent Agencies in Massachusetts that have received the coveted Five Star Agency Designation.
