Murphy Insurance Agency is pleased to announce that Lee Preville, Personal Insurance professional in Groton, and Patricia Kelleher, Commercial Insurance professional in Harvard, have been awarded the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR®) designation.

The CISR designation is awarded by the Society of CISR, a not-for-profit organization and member of The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research, the nation’s premier provider of insurance and risk management education.  The CISR designation consists of five rigorous courses and national examinations and stresses the understanding and analysis of risks and exposures.  The CISR Program is distinguished from others by its annual continuing education requirements.

“Murphy Insurance Agency is dedicated to continuing education and is proud to have twenty-four employees that also hold the CISR designation,” said Dennis F. Murphy, Jr., CEO. “The CISR designation is highly regarded in the insurance industry, and helps our staff stay updated on current trends, allowing us to provide proper guidance to our customers.”

Preville joined our Groton office in 2007. She has been in the insurance industry for 23 years and provides specialized insurance protection for individuals and their families. Kelleher joined the Agency in 2008. She also has over 20 years of insurance experience and specializes in providing protection for businesses.
