  • Thanksgiving Day is the leading day for home cooking fires. Be sure to follow safe cooking practices in the kitchen.
  • Thanksgiving Day and the weekend are among the busiest travel days of the year, heightening the risk of accidents. If you’ll be on the road, be sure to give yourself plenty of time and remember road safety tips. Driving becomes routine, so it never hurts to think about what it takes to stay safe. Even if you’re being safe, you must watch out for others who might not be as responsible.
