A. Information Provided to Us
We may collect personal information that has been willingly provided to us. Such information may include, but is not limited to the following:
- Contact Information: Your name, home/work/mailing address, e-mail address, home/work/mobile telephone number, and fax number.
- Individual Information: Your photograph, date of birth, Social Security number, driver’s license number, and demographic information (e.g., age, sex, height, weight, eye color, hair color, marital status, etc.).
- Background Information: Your family information, marital history, citizenship status, passport information, alien registration number, education information, employment information and history, financial information and history, tax information, residential history, criminal history, and court records (including citations and charges that may have been dismissed), health information and medical records, insurance information, mortgage information, veteran status, organ-donor status, driver’s license information, motor-vehicle records, and automobile information.
- Other Service-Related Information: Information regarding your transactions with us or our affiliates, information regarding your transactions with nonaffiliated third parties, information from consumer reporting agencies, information related to businesses and other organizations, and trusts, which are connected to you, information about your intellectual and other property, information regarding your preferences, interests, or favorites, and other personal information necessary or advisable to provide you with our products or services.
- Payment Information: Your credit-card information and bank-account information.
We may obtain such personal information directly from you through your access and use of our products or services, from third parties using our products and services, including, without limitation, employers who have purchased our products or services for their employees, or from third parties from whom we request information in connection with providing or potentially providing our products or services, such as insurance agencies or companies, state registries/departments/divisions of motor vehicles (or their equivalent), or credit bureaus. We may also obtain such personal information directly, such as through inspections of your property.
It is important that the personal information we hold about you is accurate and current. Please tell us if your personal information changes during your relationship with us.
Under certain circumstances, you may be required to provide us with certain personal information necessary for compliance with applicable law, or to fulfill your contractual obligations with us. B. Information Collected by Our Servers

D. Children’s and Minors’ Privacy
Our products, services, and website are intended for adults, not children. It is not our intent to collect the personal information of anyone under thirteen years old except as strictly necessary to provide specific products or services requested by you, and we do not knowingly utilize any plug-ins or ad networks that collect personal information through third-party websites or online services, which are directed at children. If we obtain actual knowledge that any individual under thirteen years old has given us personal information, then we will take steps to delete such information. In addition, we do not knowingly allow any marketing or advertising, which is specifically targeted to anyone under eighteen years old and that is prohibited by applicable law.
E.“Do Not Track” Signals
There are currently no commonly accepted standards for recognizing or responding to “Do Not Track” signals. As a result, we do not currently respond to “Do Not Track” signals.
2. How We May Use Information We Collect
The information we collect from you may be used for any one or more of the following purposes, under the following legal bases:
Fulfillment of Services
- To evaluate requests for insurance coverage, determine rates, issue insurance policies, and otherwise provide you with and facilitate products and services you request from us, and to respond to questions and other requests for information from you.
- To service insurance policies, evaluate and settle claims, and otherwise meet contractual obligations.
- To process and collect payments for our products and services.
These are necessary (1) to fulfill our contractual obligations to you, and to take steps requested by you prior to our entering into a contract (e.g., to provide a quote); and (2) for our legitimate interests and/or those of a third party, including, without limitation, providing you the best possible service, developing and maintaining our relationship with you, establishing, exercising, and defending our legal claims and rights, and building and running our business.

These are necessary (1) to fulfill our contractual obligations to you; (2) to comply with our legal obligations; and (3) for our legitimate interests and/or those of a third party, including, without limitation, establishing, enforcing, and defending our legal rights and protecting the rights of third parties; detecting and preventing fraud, crime, and other misconduct or misuse; protecting public safety or national security; and protecting our reputation and business.
Marketing and Promotions
- To verify your e-mail address; to send communications you have requested or that may be of interest to you based on your apparent preferences and interests; to call you by telephone for our business purposes, including, without limitation, as part of secondary fraud protection or, where permitted, to solicit your feedback; and to send you newsletters, surveys, offers, and other marketing/promotional information or materials, or invitations to events that we think may be of interest to you.
These are necessary for our legitimate interests and/or those of a third party, including, without limitation, developing and maintaining our relationship with you, promoting our reputation, and building and running our business. - To perform other functions as otherwise described at the time of collection, which are necessary to fulfill our contractual obligations to you, necessary to comply with our legal obligations, or necessary for our legitimate interests and/or those of a third party, or to which you consent.
3. With Whom We May Share Information
Information we collect may be disclosed in accordance with this Privacy Policy, including, without limitation, information regarding you, information regarding your transactions with us and/or our affiliates, information regarding your transactions with nonaffiliated third parties, and information from consumer reporting agencies. We reserve the right to disclose any information we collect in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We may share your information with others as follows:
A. Service Providers, Suppliers, Etc.
We may share your information with those who provide services to us or act on our behalf, such as our subsidiaries and affiliates, or our service providers, suppliers, subcontractors, and similar, non-affiliated third parties, for our everyday business purposes (such as to investigate, defend, or settle claims, process transactions, maintain accounts, market our products and services, respond to court orders and legal investigations, or report to credit bureaus) or as otherwise permitted by applicable law, as set forth in Section 2 above. These may include, without limitation, financial service providers, non-financial companies, insurance companies we represent, underwriters, independent claims adjusters, appraisers, investigators, or attorneys, as well as businesses that help us with data processing, marketing, or other aspects of our business.
B. Legal Compliance; Preventing Harm
We may share your information with third parties, as we consider necessary or advisable, in our sole discretion,
(i) as necessary to effect, administer, or enforce a transaction requested or authorized by you, or in connection with servicing or processing a product or service requested or authorized by you, or in connection with maintaining or servicing your account with us, such as with medical-care institutions or medical professionals to verify coverage;

C. Corporate Sale, Merger, Reorganization, Etc.
We may share, transfer, and/or assign your information to third parties, in connection with or during negotiation of any merger, or any sale, assignment, transfer, exchange, or other disposition, of all or any portion of our business, stock, or assets, including, without limitation, in the event of any corporate restructuring.

In addition, you should be aware that certain personal information will become public record when certain documents are filed with the federal or state governments, with a court or other governmental body, or with certain self-regulatory organizations. This Privacy Policy does not cover these, or any similar, third-party actions.

5. Retention and Removal
We will retain information we collect for as long as we consider necessary to perform the activities and fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy,
